Description
The Government today (May 20) gazetted a notice announcing that the Antiquities Authority (i.e. the Secretary for Development) has declared Jamia Mosque and Hong Kong City Hall in Central, and Lui Seng Chun in Mong Kok as monuments under the Antiquities and Monuments Ordinance. Photo shows the roof parapets of the prayer hall of Jamia Mosque. They are decorated by rounded merlons with pedestals crowned by finial at intervals.
